Our administration enables us to log service reminders for our customers as well as being the control centre for our engineers’ appointments.

Our repair service covers all general work including electrical, bodywork, upholstery and replacement parts. All spares can be supplied, often from stock (especially consumables) including: battery chargers, puncture proof tyres, cushions, electronic controllers, body panels and much more.

Maintenance and routine servicing of electrical equipment, including care of general equipment such as wheelchairs, will minimise problems, hopefully preventing their occurence, giving you peace of mind.

We can insure your equipment against damage, theft and other inconveniences. Have you checked whether you have sufficient third party liability cover in case you were to cause an accident or injury with your wheelchair or other mobilty items? Please feel free to contact us for a quotation.

As main agents for the major equipment suppliers, we can supply all the top quality, reliable brands. Our engineers will discuss your requirements and use their wide knowledge to recommend the most suitable solution. If you prefer to spread the cost of paying for higher value items, we can help you there, too, as we are licenced credit brokers. We are happy to take your old equipment in part-exchange for newer items.

You may hire equipment from us, including scooters, electric or manual scooters, hoists, frames, electric rise/recline armchars, “Tens” pain relief machine and - yes - even walker frames or crutches for temporary disabilities.

Established since January, 1995, Classic Mobility is a family run business with over 30 years of related trade experience between the two co-founders.

Based near Stevenage in Hertfordshire, we provide services and supplies throughout South-East Britain, specialising in the repair, maintenance and servicing of electric, hydraulic and mechanical equipment - ranging from beds and hoists to wheelchairs, scooters, trolleys and other associated mobility items.

We are main agents for major suppliers and undertake sales of new and refurbished equipment plus small, mail-order items; we can hire out wheelchairs, scooters, etc. and we can provide backup services, such as finance on the more expensive items, warranties and full insurance cover to protect your equipment and you. We are also members of the British Healthcare Trades Association.

In addition, we have the facility to repair, service and calibrate Huntleigh Healthcare pressure relief equipment.

One of our partners is responsible for contract services to hospitals, nursing homes and medical loan companies, with particular emphasis on hospital beds, hoists and pressure care equipment.

We keep NHS service logs, conduct PAT testing, load testing to HSE recommendations, patient hoist load test and certification and mattress calibration.
